When is Summer X Games in 2016? |  |
The dates for the 2016 Summer X Games have yet to be set but is typically set for a Thursday through Sunday period in June or July. Potential host cities include Long Beach, CA; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Fort Worth, TX; Mineeapolis, MN; Montreal, Canada; New Orleans, LA; or Philadelphia, PA.

What is Summer X Games? | |
The Summer X Games is an annual extreme sports competition that is hosted each and every summer. After being founded in 1995, where it was located in newport, Rhode Island, the X Games have become the biggest extreme sports event in the world. Currently, ESPN controls and managed the competition as the games are aired on the various ESPN channels as well as on their sister television network, ABC. Opposite of the summer event are the Winter X Games.

- Moto X: Freestyle, Speed & Style, Step Up, Racing, etc.
- Mountain Bike Slopestyle
- Rallycross
- Skateboarding: Vert, Park, Street Leagye, Big Air, etc.
- BMX: Vert, Park, Street, Big Air, Dirt
- Real video Series: Real Surf, Real Women, Real Street
- Red Bull Phenom: Mountain Bike Slopestyle, Skateboard Street, BMX Street
