The 2016 Bike Week begins on Friday, March 4th and ends on Sunday, March 13th. 

What is Bike Week?

Daytona Bike Week is a motorcycle rally that welcomes half a million attendees per year to Daytona Beach, Florida. Motorcycle enthusiasts have been gathering on the beach since 1937, when the first Daytona 200 race was held. Bike Week survived as an unofficial motorcycle festival during World War II when the official Daytona Race was discontinued due to rationing of fuel, tires, and other bike components. After the war, the race was reinstituted. It was later moved to Daytona International Speedway in 1961. Yet Bike Week is still celebrated down at the beach every year. Today, the 10 day event features motorcycle races, bike shows, concerts, and street celebrations. There are hundreds of attractions and events to delight attendees throughout Volusia County. Other Bike Week events are held throughout the United States on various dates.
