What is NBA Draft?

The NBA Draft is an annual event hosted by the National Basketball Association (NBA) in which the 30 teams are able to select, or draft, eligible players who have applied for the draft. The pool of players consists of mainly US college players but international basketball players are also given the opportunity to be drafted. The NBA Draft usually occurs at the end of June every year, in the heart of the NBA off-season. The event consists of two rounds with thirty selections per round, so a total of 60 picks.
