When is Bonnaroo in 2015?

The dates of Bonnaroo 2015 will be held from Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th.

The lineup for the festival was announced on Tuesday, January 13th and included Billy Joel, Mumford & Sons, DEADMAU5, Kendrick Lamar, Florence & The Machine, Bassnectar, Slayer, Childish Gambino, Atmosphere, Earth Wind & Fire, Flume, and Hozier. 

Tickets for 2015's Bonnaroo go on sale on Saturday, January 17th at Noon EST. 

What is Bonnaroo?

Bonnaroo is an annual music and arts festival held in Manchester, Tennessee. The four-day event is co-hosted by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment at the Great Stage Park, a 700-acre farm in Manchester. The first Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival was held in 2002 and has consistently gained popularity as it has become one of the most famous American music festivals. Rolling Stone magazine named Bonnaroo one of the "50 Moments That Changed Rock & Roll," as well as one of the 10 Best Festivals by GQ Magazine and the "Festival Of The Decade" by Consequence of Sound. Other accorlades include being called "The culmination of a music movement" by USA Today and the "Best festival of the summer" by SPIN Magazine. 

The musical genres featured at Bonnaroo include indie, hip hop, r&b, american, bluegrass, country, folk, reggae, rock, and other alternative music.

Rumors regarding Bonnaroo 2015 lineup headliners include Prince, The Black Keys, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, and the Foo Fighters. The actual lineup was released on Tuesday, January 13th and includes Billy Joel, Mumford & Sons, DEADMAU5, Kendrick Lamar, Florence & The Machine, Bassnectar, Childish Gambino, Flume, and Hozier.

Some of the most famous musical acts to perform at Bonnaroo include Radiohead, Phish, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, James Brown, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, The Strokes, and Bruce Springstein.
