New Orleans Jazz Fest 2016 runs for two consectutive weekends towards the end of April: Friday, April 22nd through Sunday April 24th and then Thursday, April 28th through Sunday, May 1st. Dates have yet to be confirmed.
The lineup for the festival includes Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, Paul Simon, Beck, Van Morrison, Nick Jonas, J.Cole, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Gary Clark Jr., Flo Rida and many more!

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, commonly referred to as the Jazz Fest, is a major international jazz fesitval held every year in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States that celebrates the music and culture found in New Orleans. The annual event is celebrated at Fair Ground Horse Race Cource in Mid-City, New Orleans over two consectuve weekends, the final Friday-Sunday weekend of April and the first Thursday-Sunday weekend of May, running from 11 AM - 7 PM each day.
In 2015, over 460,000 people attended the jazz festival to see performances by Elton John, The Who, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull, Jimmy Buffett, No Doubt, T.I. Tony Bennet w/ Lady gaga, Keith Urban, and many more.
The musical genres featured at Jazz Fest include blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun music, Afro-Carribean, folk, reggae, latin, rap, rock, country, and bluegrass.
