What is St. Patrick's Day?

Saint Patrick's Day is always observed on March 17th of every year in the remembrance of Ireland's Saint Patrick.  Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated with lots of green clothing, parties, and large pub events. Some unusual items that are associated with this special day are rainbows, pots of gold, leprechauns, and four-lef clovers.
