What is Rewind Festival?

The Rewind Festival is an 80's themed summer music festival that takes place in three U.K. locations every year. The venues are located in Cheshire and Henley-on-Thames in England and Perth in Scotland. The events were first launched in 2009 and are run by 'The Rival Organisation' and 'Into The Groove'. Each set of concerts features artists and bands that were popular in the 1980s. Acts over the years have included Billy Ocean, Rick Astley, Cutting Crew, and Mike + The Mechanics. Attendees often get into the spirit of the 80's by dressing in the classic fashions of that era. Street entertainers, a silent disco, and fireworks mark the event. In recent years, the festival has expanded to locations such as Thailand and South Africa. Some of the venues offer camping, allowing visitors to stay on-site for the entire festival.
