When is PAX South in 2016?

The dates of PAX South in 2016 are Friday, January 29th through Sunday, January 31st at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. More information and tickets can be obtained on the official PAX South website. 

What is PAX South?

PAX South is a gaming culture and community conention held every year in San Antonio, Texas. It is an expansion of the entire PAX PrimeConvention series. The original PAX, Penny Arcade Expo, Show was created in 2004 and has seen its attendance double every year. As a result of the extreme growth in popularity, the convention has expanded to Boston, Massachusetts for PAX East before eventually making it to San Antonio, Texas for Pthe southern show. Gamers located in the south made it known that it was difficult for them to travel to Seattle or Boston for a show and Penny Arcade heard their cries. It was never a question if a southern show would exist but rather when the show would be launched. 

The PAX South 2016 Show features speeches from industry leaders, panels on various gaming topics, gaming areas for handheld/tabletop/console/PC tournaments, conerts featuring gaming inspired music, and exhubitor hall(s) with publishers and developers showcasing their latest and greatest work.
