When is Passover in 2015?

The dates of Passover in 2015 will begin on Friday, April 3rd and will continue for seven days until Friday, April 10th. However, in the United States Passover ends one day later so in USA the holiday period ends on Saturday, April 11th. 

What is Passover?

Passover begins on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Nisan. Passover lasts for eight days and celebrates the Israelites' freedom from slavery in Egypt. Within the Jewish tradition, holidays begin with the sundown of the previous day so the Passover celebration actually begins at the sunset of the day prior.
