When is New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2017?

New Oleans Jazz Fest 2017 runs for two consectutive weekends towards the end of April: Friday, April 21st through Sunday, April 23rd and then Friday, April 28th through Sunday, April 30th. Dates have yet to be confirmed. 

The lineup for the festival is typically announced in January of the same year. 

What is New Orleans Jazz Fest?

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, commonly referred to as the Jazz Fest, is a major international jazz fesitval held every year in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States that celebrates the music and culture found in New Orleans. The annual event is celebrated at Fair Ground Horse Race Cource in Mid-City, New Orleans over two consectuve weekends, the final Friday-Sunday weekend of April and the first Thursday-Sunday weekend of May, running from 11 AM - 7 PM each day. 

The musical genres featured at the 2017 Jazz Fest include blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun music, Afro-Carribean, folk, reggae, latin, rap, rock, country, and bluegrass.
