The bout between Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayeather have agreed to compete in a WBA and WBC Super Welterweight Unification bought on September 14th at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The Canelo vs. Mayweather bout will be feature don Showtime Pay-Per-View. Mayweather currently boasts a record of 44-0 while Canelo has one draw that is blemishing his 42-0-1 record that features 30 knockouts. 

The two boxers will compete at a maximum weight of 152 lbs. Boxing, sometimes referred to as prize fighting, is a type of martial art and combat sport in which two competitors, called boxers, compete against each other in a contest of strength, toughness, endurance, agility, speed and determination by throwing punches at eachother with gloved hands.
